The Day After The Day After
I enjoyed my birthday...and my birthday gifts. Thanks to those of you who actually took my wishlist seriously (i.e, Jason, Quinton & Tavi). I appreciate it much.
I really don't have anything serious to talk about considering that I'm still recovering from a birthday hangover. ok...not technically...I ordered a Melon Martini, but it was WAY too strong and I asked the server to take it back. Isn't a martini supposed to be served in a martini glass?. Hmmm. That's why it's called MARTINI. My martini was served in a highball glass, and that ruined the whole "I haven't had a drink in 5 years" experience. I actually settled for a non-alcoholic mango lemonade, which is DELICIOUS for anyone who wishes to try it.
I take the whole drink being too strong ordeal as a sign that it's just not meant for me to consume any alcohol. I only took a sip of the martini thingy and gave it a SUPER headache. I get the message God. I will not have another drink...unless it's Champagne served at Chelle's wedding...but even that's conditional. Hmm...we'll see.
Yea...so anyway...I don't really have much to say. I had fun.
The End.

I once ordered an ice tea and was brought a Long Island Iced Tea. It took me a few sips before I figured out something was not right.

timi, honeychild, you put your wishlist on your personal page.
you're hilarious.
good talkin' to ya the last couple days.
ok, and this is my thing: i don't drink a sip. it's not necessarily a good or bad thing, but i swore it off a while ago and have not touched alcohol since i was nearly forced to in my pre-teens. yeah, by my dad.
so sometimes it kind of a bummer. if my friends go out for a drink, i always feel like the odd-ball, not 'cuz i'm all high & mighty (well, ok, maybe somewhat) but because - and i notice this more and more, when you drink all you do (unless you are drunk. different story) is talk about alcohol and alcohol-related events. it is SOOOOO flippin' boring. they have no idea.

What did you get?
I'm afraid to drink. I've convinced myself that alcohol is poison.

I haven't had a drink in some time either. I used to be an Amaretto and Rum y Coke fiend. Then one day I drank some Am, and all hell broke loose in my stomach, that was my sign.
Glad you enjoyed your bday though sis! And I've had virgin mango lemonade before in JA...whooooo!

yo! i ordered a vanilla coke before they were on the market, not knowing it was alcoholic....
but I didn't mind...
I'm a big fat guy...I've never been drunk. I did try once...bought like a grocery bag of diff drinks with my brother, and tried a bunch of imported beers and coolers...didn't get drunk, but I woke up thinking I was at someone's frat party...beer bottles were EVERYWHERE! Hha
